1741 Shake your moneymaker

Saucy Scale: 10

My children make me laugh.

I recently found myself turning the radio dial looking for something to occupy the airwaves in the minivan.  I stopped on a "light-ish" station playing some disco song.  I turned up the volume and bobbed my head a few times to the beat.  It wasn’t long until Gus was swinging and swaying right along with me.

He’s got great moves.  That boy can really car dance.

It took a little prodding, but Mattson has been easing into his mad car dancing skills as well.  Mostly he shakes his right arm (he’s too busy sucking his left thumb to use both arms) to copycat Gusser’s moves.

We’ve grooved to Brick House.  It was a *sniff* proud proud moment for mama.

Aren’t kids just the best? ABBA always makes me think of you–why is that? Funny thing heard from Ryan’s lips last night: “My hips are killin’ me”. Guess he hears me utter those words way too often, huh?!?

And, why in the world are you & I still awake? I need to drag my weary bones to bed! I was ready to fall asleep at 7:45pm tonight.

Brick House! You’re teaching them well. ryn: He’s in Chicago and it was meant to be just a fun little outing for me while he was away.

haha! i wish everyone had a webcam from priceless moments like that.

Our favorite used to be Earth Wind and Fire songs. Of course, it’s been forever since I’ve had to commute, but Earth Wind and Fire still always makes me happy.

haha! Sam and I love to car-dance too. So cute.

LOL!!! My daughter is quite the dancer too. Cracks me up!

Awww, don’t you wish you had a hidden camera for moments like that? We’re working on Christina’s moves. So far she’s got the bounce and bob down pat.
