1774 Goodnight and sleep tight

Saucy Scale: 6

We’ve been celebrating Christmas since the evening of the 24th.

Three visits from Santa.

Four days in Iowa with TBU’s folks.

I am so happy to be back home.  (Even though my house looks like a red & green hurricane swept through it!)  More accurately, I am THRILLED with the prospect of sleeping in my own bed tonight.  I always knew our bed was amazing, but the past few nights just convinced me that we have the greatest bed ever designed!   Tonight I will sink into the cradle of my bed and the babies will sleep completely supported, too.

And I won’t feel as if I’m lying on top of the two "boulders" hanging out on my bladder! Like I did trying to sleep in the guest bed.  Rolling over was excruciatingly painful.  And talk about a restless sleep…I had some wicked crazy dreams all night long.  In fact, it was so difficult to sleep there, that my poor husband had to sleep on a sofabed, so that I could take the whole bed for myself.

I look forward to sharing the same space with him tonight.

And with that…a comfortable sleep to you all!

5 Things That Make Me Happy:

  1. People who love us and our children.  (There were some really generous Christmas gifts under the tree.)
  2. My bed.
  3. My hubby.
  4. My babies4
  5. Baby Girl.  The dog somehow arrived home tonight with a stripe of maple syrup down her back.
  6. And again, I say: MY BED!

I’ve always wondered… if you have the bed set with different “numbers” on each side, does it feel funny in the middle?

Merry belated Christmas. I’m glad you and the family were surrounded by love during the holiday.

Yaay for sleeping in your own bed tonight!

I have heard such mixed reviews about the select comfort bed…it seems people either love it or they hate it. Glad you had a good Christmas! 🙂

I SO understand about the bed thing. We went to my hubby’s dad’s house and I didn’t sleep well AT ALL the entire time I was there. The bed was like I was on concrete.. actually that would have been softer!!! I was SO happy to get home!

We have a Sleep Number, too. It’s awesome! 😀 How many weeks are you now? You should have a counter, so we can keep track with you. RYN: I don’t take offense. I appreciate that we’re in your thoughts, in whatever form that may take. Thank you. Hope you’re having a wonderful holiday season!
