Taxes and the IRS

So Justin got called back to the IRS tonight, he goes into work on Wednesday. *glances at the phone* Im waiting for my call to go into work. *sighs* Justin claims I wont get my call tonight, meanie.

Oh but I did my taxes online, I got to go through H&R Block for free because I didnt make that much money last year. So little I qualified for Earned Income Credit. I don’t have children so you can guess how LITTLE I made. So Im getting quite a bit back, between federal and state Im getting $700 and then a little bit more.

So yeah, Im getting a bit of money back, so Im happy about that, last year I owed a bit of money so its really really nice. So I filed online and Im waiting to find out WHEN I get my return. I’d like to be able to have it in a week, because then my pay check from the IRS hits the bank and I’ll have over $1000 in my OWN bank account. Yeah me.

My country has taught me how to carry your patriotism with a quiet dignity, never shoving it down anyone’s throat.

My country has taught me that while my Prime Minister is an idiot with fuzzy eyebrows, while our politiicans are fat and run around screaing “Pig’s arse!” all the time (Aussie joke ;), while our land is not without its imperfections, at least we have clean water to drink, fresh air to breathe and we live in a country where we don’t block someone if we don’t like thier opinion.

*Sigh* I owe taxes again because of a flub-up with the state of Oklahoma, a state I’ve never even lived in, much less want to live in… *sigh*

LOL It’s funny how you can spout your opinion to the world, but as soon as someone else comes along and either contradicts you, points out your utter stupidity, or just disagrees in general, you feel the need to run around crying, blocking people. How mature you Americans are. You can attack Iraq and Afghanistan, but they can’t attack you. Yes. Logic. Mature. Moron.

Oh and isn’t it great how I can still leave you notes? 🙂
