Roommate Cancelation

I truely believe that Kansas City is the hardest city to find a roommate in.

Im so used to the way things work in California. You place your ad, you get dozens upon dozens of calls, you meet with people, you screen people, you have them fill out an application and the apt complex runs it for you… You pick your roommate and wala! They move in.

Here I have to actively recruit roommates.

So I’ve had people say they wanted to come look at the place then decide they were not going to move… (Not leaving the s/o) The one from Texas his job here in KC got canceled so… no roommate there. So now here we are with two rooms available for rent and no roommates. I’d be happy just to get ONE person in, just one.

But alas, no such luck.

Went to the coffee shop with Justin last night and met up with our friends. Actually enjoyed my time there so it was worth it. Once I was out and about it didnt seem all that bad to actually be out and about. It always works that way.

When we got home I did a bit of role playing online.. created a Ravnos vampire and rp’d her a bit.

Its odd that despite the fact I dont rp in that chat channel a lot how so many of the regulars consider Justin and I to be good friends. I find that RP’ing there since I joined up with the LARP’ing group just isnt the same. Its not really rp’ing vampire the way it should be rp’d. But then again, in the LARP I’ve recently felt that its missing some aspects that the online game has available as well.

::shrugs:: Im such a geek at times I swear.

Onto another subject.

Justin. I love him. Yes, but our relationship serious lacks the passion it used to. I know its a good thing that we are comfortable with each other that its ok for us to be in the house together and just well… be doing our own thing. But I need passion, seduction, flirtations. He doesnt. So when Im flirty, I get turned away. It sucks, and I really dont want to say anything …. That and I cant have sex because of the stupid law in Nebraska and the transferance of my birth control perscription and the inablity to get it reinstated with out having to have a well womans visit all over again. Stupid screwed up laws.
