Six months off and a day late.

Basically that sums up my allergy problem in Missouri. I’ve been dealing really really well with my allergies. Taking the over the counter Claritin the wonder allergy drug and ragweed season being in the fall in Missouri has been well less itchy eyes and sneezes.

Last monday I had jury duty. I dont know what it is about cigarette smoke, but claritin cant help me. I get sick, severly sick. I got a sinus infection.. started with sneezing and headache, typical allergy stuff except I was taking Claritin my wonder drug. Now Im out sick, sinus infection, bronchitis… (which is six months off and a day late ;P ) Now while I was in California it was spring that gave me Bronchitis, the rain, the mold count going up, ragweed all year round etc. In Missouri thankfully its wet here all the time or they have a different kind of mold in the air, I just didnt get bronchitis, until I got sick from sitting next to someone who had to go smoke on our breaks while waiting for something to happen at Jury duty.

Now I dont really understand this because I have been around smoke, many of my Larp friends smoke, and I stand there with them while they do so… well not RIGHT there, but at Storytelling meetings I sat at the same table as Dave and it never failed his cigarette smoke came right at me….

So maybe someone in Jury duty had a cold? But that wouldn’t count for the bronchitis, I can catch a cold and not get bronchitis, I’ve proved that out here a few times in the last year.

Ah well, I’ve been out sick for a week, sick immediately the day after Jury Duty.. Confused at how, but none the less the Bronchitis is six months off and a day late ;P

Oh, I’m so sorry, I despise bronchitis… I would get sick in the spring in Cali and got sick here just as spring started and right now. But it’s been all very mercifully minor. Hugs to you

Hope you feel better soon! (HUGGLES)

Hrm..usually in order to catch a cold, it needs to incubate for so long of a time. I don’t think you’d get it the day after jury duty…maybe someone else around you had/has one. Anyhoo, I hope you feel better soon.
