An everyday sort of entry

Life does this thing that makes me get busy, and I’m not even back at work yet..

I start training for sure on the 6th of November.. Unemployment ran out this week and to make it worse it was the last $5 I had left.  Yup a check for $5.  I got a call from work asking if I wanted to train in the old building or new, of course I picked the new one so that I would be just as lost as all the real new people.. LOL.  Also gives me a chance to explore the building before Justin goes back to work so that I can help him find his way around.

Finally started to paint my newly remodeled bathroom.  Got one whole wall primed.  Its the one over the toliet so getting the edging done is hard, the toliet seat is the bendable plastic one the new toliet came with (haven’t gotten a nice one yet) so I don’t have much to stand on while painting the trim.  Then add to it the shower is right next to it so its a tough wall.  Not going to be as tough as the one with the mirrored medicine cabinet is on.. there are some really tight spaces that I have NO CLUE how I’m going to paint between and not get my cabinet painted.  I was SUPPOSED to have a day to paint all the walls before they put anything up.. the install guy wasn’t that great he lagged a bit, showed up really late close to noon, took a long lunch and finished at 3 so it took more days than it was supposed to so my paint day got canceled :/  Oh well I’m working on painting now.  Its going to be a beautiful color when I’m done.  I bought a trim color I don’t think I want now, but ehhh we’ll see I’ll do the trim on the windows first and see if I like it if so then I’ll do all the tall molding at the top.

I can’t believe I’m rambling about painting… New subject.

Jasmine is proving far more difficult to be friends with than I desire to put an effort into.  Since she started dating Doherty its not worth the effort to try and stay her friend.  Doherty is selfish and can’t handle sharing people, so much he stomped jealously at my cuddly cat Tiger for wanting Jasmine’s attention when they were here once.  So I put it all in her court, its up to her.

On another front Brian and Pam didn’t get their single apartment from their double duplex that they wanted, so they moved in with us.  $600 a month that includes all utilities, cable with HBO and a digital box, and high speed internet.  They have the entire basement now.  They moved in an awesome washer and dryer set. That starting in November I’ll be picking up the payments to rent a center (I’d normally never do this but they have about 10 months left) and at the end they hand them over to us to keep.  AWESOME… So awesome in fact I’m super pleased that this saves us from having to put them on a wish list.  Now we are just at a new dishwasher and a new stove.  WOOT.  Looking forward to my new job season starting in November and going straight into the new year.  Kinda sucks I don’t get to visit california for thanksgiving or even christmas but perhaps when ever I get put into non work status.

So far its cool to have them live here, but we’ll have to get past the "newly wed" roommate phase, where everything goes well.  The basement is slightly still a mess but I can give them time.  The area to the washer and dryer has to stay neat.  I’m a bit peeved that my laundry bucket that was down there was put into a closet.. ON THE BOTTOM of a pile of STUFF.  Irked cuz I have laundry in it that needs to be well laundered :/  But when Justin gets up in a few hours I’m going to have him dig it out.

Its just every day stuff..
