Soak

How quickly I fold back in to working 12 hour days without food.  It is not good and I will nip it – but I am amazed at how willing and capable I am to become that person again.

They named me to the charity drive and of course – as I was ‘voluntold’ I smile and do it.  Then I see the need for a newsletter – and begin it.  The customers are coming out of the woodworks and I am kicking butt and taking names.  The plan is to schedule the customer visits – San Diego in January or February.  Las Vegas in February or March.  Phoenix, in March or April…etc., etc.  There is definite method to my Rain Soaked Madness.  🙂  I will chase the sun.

The house here is nearly unpacked.  I am waiting for the 2 large rugs and then I will finish the living rooms.  The guest room is almost finished.  This weekend I will hang art in the small rooms.  None of the spaces are even close to the same size as the last place so I will shuffle it all around.  I’ve gone with a couple of new colors in this house – so it will be fun playing with the look of it all.

It’s rained about 5 inches in the last few days so I’ve been eating Pho every night and wearing sweaters.  I mean I went from shorts to sweaters in just 24 hours – so it has been a bit of a rapid shift.  I need to put all the summer type clothes away in the guest room closet.  I don’t know why I didn’t do that last week – guess I was in denial about the seasonal shift.

Meanwhile – I am getting a few invitations for dates and they aren’t really working out in my schedule.  There’s that = and my heart isn’t in it, either.   I think I believe that if it isn’t really something I am thinking about – I probably wouldn’t be a very good date for a guy, either.

I will meditate on it in my soaking tub tonight.
