The Stopping Point

I have one and a half exercises left–about 15 sentences. but I am through for the day. I have to leave the house tomorrow at 10:30 to be in class by 11:15. I normally get up about 7:30 these days which means I should have enough time to do this stuff and eat breakfast before I go to class. And what have I learned from this ? I will NEVER EVER take a day off homework until it is ALL done!I went for a walk this afternoon and the minute I got back, I called for an appointment with the doctor. My hip is hurting far too much. I find myself lurching and limping along as my sister used to do before she had the first hip replacement. I have an appointment with Dr Are-You-Sure-You-Are-Old-Enough-to-Be-a-Doctor, the current resident who replaced Dr. EyeCandy. This doctor {I must think of a shorter name for him}  didn’t impress me very much, I have to say —  and not only because he looks young enough to be barely out of high school. I tried to get an appointment with my primary who is in charge of all these doctors who practice on me and other patients who give their consent, but he had no openings until the middle of February and I don’t want to wait that long. If I don’t think this doctor is taking me seriously, I will get a prescription for pain– something stronger that the OTC stuff I am taking and get an appointment with my primary. How I am feeling now is definitely impingeing on my quality of life and I Am Not Happy. My appointment is this Friday afternoon.

Remember Doogie Howser? I’d just call him Dr. Doogie. LOL! He WAS barely old enough to be out of high School!

How about Dr. Whippersnapper for a shorter name. Sorry you are in so much pain.

That hip injury sounds awful. RYN: Good idea, the pawprints on the cast…we could have a regular cat party here.

You could call him Doogie.

I sure hope things get better with your hip. I really feel for you when you just can’t have a normal day because of the pain. It’s no way to live a life. Good luck

we have had the same problem with physicians here in interior Alaska. Hubs is on his 3rd primary physician since we returned in fall of 03. The first two were quite young the one he has now is a little older & hopefully will be staying in the area. I hope you get some relieve for your hip soon. I hate it when quality of life is affected so seriously. Enjoy your class.

oh I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope that you get to see someone who can help you properly.
