Sidney Crosby.
Say what you will about him and the fact that the Penguins have lost all 8 games so far, he’s an 18 year old playing his first year in the NHL and has over a point a game average. The fact that the Penguins still suck is good for Crosby. Winning isn’t easy, and it should be a struggle for young athletes. Teaches them just how much effort it takes, just how much it FREAKING SUCKS to lose. So to speak.
Lemieux didn’t win the Stanley Cup in his first year, either. Once the Penguins remember how to play defense enough to win games, things will change. Or how to simply outscore their opponents. The Kid will prevail.
On a different note, I’m amused at how The Injured One has an even two points per game.
