Exerbabble for 11-29-5

Be proud, I was in the weight room for only 25 minutes. I avoided all upper-body work, as I’m bent on letting my right arm heal. The only lower body work I did was the inner abductors. Did thirty reps at 110 lbs and left it at that. Beyond that, all I did was torso rotation, back extension, side-bends, back-dips, and holding a medicine ball while rolling my abs.

I’ve discovered the joys of stretching my back on one of those giant blue balls. Feet on the floor, I stretch back until the tips of my fingers touch the floor. Makes my back and my abs go “AHHHH!!!!” in relief. Stretching = good.

I should get my legs under me by Thursday. (And thus Sunday, I will go easier with the squats.) I’ll be patient with my arm. None of the exercises I’ve been doing have caused any pain or discomfort, but it’s obvious the tweak isn’t going away for a reason. So, as I’ve said, I’ll give it a rest. I considered doing bicep curls, as that’s away from where the discomfort is, but resisted. No, I’ve been working too hard. My arms deserve a break. *nods decisively*

I’ve written up yet another workout plan that will reduce everything I’m doing into simple terms that will keep my time in there under 45 minutes. I’ll try it next week, assuming I’m back to normal. Until then, let’s see if I can keep it under a half hour. *smiles*

I love my diner. Um. I have nothing else to say, really.
