Lifting for 5-12-9

Let’s see, things I haven’t mentioned…

My jog Sunday morning went extremely well. I didn’t feel like death for once! I think the key was remembering to jog as slowly as possible. I was able to maintain a 4:3 breathing pattern the entire time. Total distance: two miles. I am pleased.

I had taken some melatonin the night before and slept SO awesome. After my jog, I took a quick shower and performed my duties as sole openning manager. Relatively slow, but we also only ran one line the entire shift, so it got a little hairy at times.

Had my practicum yesterday morning. Went okay. When I got home, I insisted to Candi that we go to the first showing of Star Trek that I could find. I rarely get excited for things, so I went with it. Remembered to show our movie tickets at Fatburger afterwards for 10% off. Mmm, Fatburger.

Candi brought her Wii over. We managed to pyrate someone’s wireless internet connection to download some stuff. The girl’s never played Super Mario Bros. 3. Or Legend of Zelda. This will be remedied. Also got a couple songs for Rock Band. She forgot her drum sticks, so I improvised with wooden spoons.

She had some academic things to tend to this morning, so she left earlyish. Whenever I don’t have a deadline or something to do, I lack motivation to go to the gym. I went anyway.

I’ve been afraid of this shift in rest periods. I was scared I wouldn’t be able to do it. I decided to keep all the weights the same as I didn’t want to risk completely obliterating myself.

It went.. okay. It was easier than I had anticipated, but that doesn’t mean it was easy. I just didn’t get cocky with the weights, that’s all. It also went fast. Not sure what else I should annotate.

Intervals went okay, felt like I had a little bit more energy than usual. Post-workout weight is still dropping. I rule.

Should take my online exam for my First Aid class, as that’s why I’m in the library. Should study for my final Final after that. Don’t know if I will. I just FEEL ready. I’ll try to at LEAST look over the review sheet and make sure I know everything.

My mind is wandering into what storylines I’ll do with my Sims. The Unification of the Diddley family is almost too upbeat. I’m thinking of having some splinterings. Xanatos is due to die soon. Xena’s not quite there yet, but she’s on her way. I’ve been trying to max out Xavier’s skills, but with the advent of lifetime aspirations, he actually wants to be a criminal mastermind. Perhaps there is hope for him as a Diddley yet. Barbara gets to live, though it’s hard to say what the fate of Xultar or Xirk will be at this point.

Ah, the things that amuse me. I always get horridly distracted towards the end of a semester, finding something to pass the time.

I love the name Xanatos. It’s my best friend’s diary.

You haven’t laughed at me yet. Either a) you decided to be nice, or b)you haven’t read the entry.
