4 hours sleep

Yesterday I played against Jos. After an opening in which I probably got the better position (I was again trying to encircle my opponent), I gradually lost control of the position. At some point he mist a very good opporunity, but he played to fast and I got the chance to make a 4 x 4 exchange to a remise position. And it did eventually end in a draw.

Cock played against Arie. He took some crazy risks and Arie easily moved into a winning position. However, Arie even lost te game. This wasn’t surprising, since Cock is by far the better player (on paper).

His win, and my draw mean that Cock gets even closer to first pace. But I am still the leader. Now just one more game to go.

After the game we analysed a bit and after that we drank a bit. At 1.30 I left and at 2 am I stepped into my bed. This morning I had to get up at 6! But this turned out to work out fine. I got up, went to Haarlem, said goodbye to Jeffrey, etc.

From 12 till 5 I worked on the computer at university. The computer rooms closed at 5.15, which is a pity. I’m writing this on a computer with limited possibilites (and it logs off automatically after 20 minutes). So after writing this (without spellcheck) there is no other choice for me but to go home.
