Twin Peaks

I bought Twin Peaks the second season on DVD. After the initial disappointment that it would not come out people organised internet petitions in order to get the second season released all the same. I signed them too, but I didn’t have high expectations. I don’t know if my contributions made any difference, or if this release is a result of these petitions, but I’m very happy. Finally my collection is complete, and I can throw out the inferior taped-from-television video tapes.

            I hadn’t watched TP in years, also because I didn’t have the second season (on DVD). So Saturday I began re-watching the series. First the pilot film (of which the imported DVD does show some stripes), and Sunday starting with episode 1. I’m totally into it again now. Buffy season 5 will have to wait. And now there are also the season two extras to look forward to (although supposedly they are not really something).   

            Audrey Horne is such a complicated character. Dreamy, rebellious, not too many friends, inquisitive, interfering. Especially the dreamy part, in relation to her song/soundtrack, reminded me of how I am like her.
