Angel

Yesterday evening after the draughts I got home and started flicking through the channels. I was looking for something relaxing, possibly with some nudity. However, at some point I came across Angel season 5. When Buffy was still on TV regularly Veronica used to show Angel as well. But, they decided in the middle of this last season to stop airing it. And since I am against buying Angel on DVD (I already have everything from Buffy), I never did find out how Angel’s last season ended. The episode shown was one that I had already seen, but I expect that the ones I haven’t seen yet will be aired shortly.

This was a pleasant surprise.

And now you’re of course wondering if I won my draughts game?

I played an interesting classical game against Arie. The position got thinner and thinner, but slowly I gained an advantage. Unfortunately, due to time pressure, I chose the wrong plan, and my opponent found the route to a draw game easily.  

For an exhibition on slums near Istanbul I will be translating a couple of interviews from English into Dutch. Just something to kill the time. On a voluntary basis.
