holiday is over

I’ll never have classes anymore and the only thing that I still have to do is write my MA thesis. This makes it tempting to have a long holiday and to not be doing much for a long period of time. Naturally I must try to prevent that and keep motivated for just a little bit longer. I completed my summer draughts tournament and in order to acclimatise I just relaxed for a couple of days in front of the TV and at the movies. I went to Kung Fu Panda, which is hilarious, and I went to Mamma Mia, which is nice up to a point. It was a bit too much targeted on women only though and the singing was not good enough. Only the emotional songs were good, because the actors good invest in those as being actors.

Today I’m starting work again and I’ve also decided that from today my holiday is over. I’m reading the most recent articles on metaphor and I want to finish my research proposal in two weeks. I may choose something to do with metaphor and time and investigate whether time passes us by or whether it is us that leave the past behind?
