Why does time pass slowly when you are waiting…

As my brain took momentary trip back into sanity (only a minute, and not my doing) I was made to realize that testing isn’t this coming Tuesday, but the following…So I still have another week longer than I was worrying over…Still…Math and I…I’m going to bomb.

Mum gave me the okay to go ahead and order my book. (My last splurge until I know how much college is going to cost me…Especially since I opted, not for the usual wait a week free shipping…I want it now! Alas…I’ll have to wait until the 27th for it to get here…Still not soon enough. Perhaps it has become a bit of an obsession.)
Did manage to learn something today, while attempting to use the computers at the school (which thoroughly suck! I can’t even get to Open Diary!), I learned one of the things Polidori studied while at the University of Edinburgh was mesmerism.

I attempted a nap…I don’t think I even managed 20 minutes…I was awakened for senseless reasons by Critter A (for those of you who may have forgotten A is Sonja, B is Harley). It did not do well for my temperament. I am quite snarly at them now. Which hopefully gets them to bed on time…As I’m not in the mood to deal with them, and I’m quite easy to release the growling.

By the way…The book:
The Vampyre: And Other Writings
Authored by: John William Polidori

Other than the short story The Vampyre, the book also includes the novel Modern Oedipus, a medical thesis on nightmares, an essay on the source of pleasures, poetry, and parts of his personal diaries. [His full diaries no longer existing, as his sister edited them, removing anything she thought too scandalous, then burnt the originals. Yeah…I‘ve been learning things…With no reasoning other than wanting too.]

*listens to the half of Sunny that I can hear sung by Timothy Spall* Gods…That man can sing.
Ahh…The British are such a talented lot. *laughs*
Speaking of my rat’s singing…I need a good duet. *smirks* One for two men to sing. *rubs hands to together* Hehehe…The fun of plotting!

I’m not sure if it’s the maltesers (as yes, I’ve taken to eating them again in my sleep deprived state of things…Ah…They are so good), or the soothing sounds of listening to Sunny…I’m feeling a bit more mellow once more…In that, I’m mental and a bit manic, and could start laughing insanely at any moment kind of way. *snickers* [Just think you lot…What you’ll get when Raya is up here with me. We should definitely be a pair. *works on the havoc wreaking plans.*]

Well…I have to finish Raven’s entry for the evening…Ahh…Tis so good to be able to express things in a visual way once more. Gods…I would so hate to lose my eyes. I really should take better care of them…New contacts for the beginning of the month…I promise you my baby blues.

And then, my roommate woke me a second time, and I couldn’t back to sleep even after she left. *kicks the roommate* *growl, hiss* *hugs*

RYN: Thanks for the Raven pills. I’ll be real careful with them. I’ll wait til I”m in a field so people don’t freak and come running lol.

i happen to think us British are a talented lot *arrogant smirk* but so are you! i saw Timothy Spall on a show called Top Gear and it really changed my perception of him, in a good way might i add. as to the exams at least you can get more revision in 😀 i also have no doubt that you and Raya will indeed wreak a lot of havoc!!!!! <3

Maltesers! they are beyond fabby fab! eat a whole box!! do it, do it actually because of the time difference you probably already have 😀 <3

I had no idea that Polidori studied Mesmerism…though it is not surprising. Anywho, I was here, though I am currently brainless. *needs to write something for rpg* *has no thoughts* *hugs*

Guess what?! I wrote my English essay! Yay!! I’m going to hand in the rough draft tomorrow for Professor to look at over the weekend. I bet I’m the only one who even started let alone finished a rough copy of said essay. Heh. I’m such an overachiever…and most importantly, a very good writer. *grins*
