I want my book…But here is some other stuff

One night in passing, Raya broached the question of Raven and Peter as a couple, and asked if I could see this happening. Those of you who have followed the last incarnation(s) of the RPG know that Raven and Peter had ‘moments’ together, though they were never truly a couple ( as close as they came was during the time of enslavement).

My answer being, I can’t see it, as despite Peter loving her with all his being, Raven doesn’t return the same depth of love for him. In think, perhaps, it’s something in her subconscious mind that dictates against such. I can see, on the other hand, that upon Peter’s passing (which seems inevitable) that part of her would/could come to see that she could have possibly loved him, had not her attentions been drawn elsewhere. (Tis a thought that resonates within my mind when listening to the song ‘When I’m gone’.)

Also as such, I think Peter knows that Raven needs something he, perhaps, could never offer. Despite, or perhaps because of, his deep love for her, he is continuously willing to allow others, those who might better fulfill her needs, to take up the position of actually being with her. It could also be his own form of self-punishment fro the misdeeds of his past even.

On a totally and completely diffrent note…I’m feeling a bit better about the upcoming placement testing…As…The second math book is on college Algebra, Trigometory, and Geometry…None of which I have any intentions of going anywhere near. Plus…I figured out 3 of the problems today…And I think a fourth, on the first section…And one a possible figuring out on the second section. *grins*
Sitting in the library, working on trying to figure out those evil math problems…Actually felt kind of good. Odd as that has got to sound.

I got a jewelry catalog in the mail yesterday…Found the perfect giftie for Mum for Mother’s day. *smiles* (Also found nearly $200.00 worth of merchandise I wouldn’t mind having. *laughs* Though it will be staying there…But Mum did say to get me something for Mother’s day out of it…So I get one thing.)

Didn’t get to see ‘the Sub’ today…I’m not sure what happened to him subbing for Sonja’s class…*shrugs* Oh well…I’ve got what…Four more weeks of in and out of the school…Not that it’ll do any good in the end…But still. *laughs*

Not this weekend, but the next, marks the One year date of the last muttered ‘I love yous’.
It’s been nearly 7 weeks now since the Pet’s stayed here. Haven’t heard a peep from his since Saturday. Does this not scream over or what? All there is really is pesky technicalities.

I still, for whatever reason, miss Death. Guess I always will on some strange level of being. But…I’m not going to let it get to me. Yeah, I do wish he’d return. But…*shrugs* It does not matter in the long run I suppose…It is life after all…People change, grow, move on, etc.

What else? Hmmm…

My book should be here tomorrow…Better be here tomorrow. I can hardly wait…I am quite anxious.
