Home

I drove home to the farm today. I’m always so sleepy when I finally make it home – I think it’s because coming home always relaxes me so much. It’s always so peaceful. I think Rebecca and her peculiar personality makes me more uneasy than I realize too. In retrospect, I think it was a bad idea to live in a house owned by someone else – I always feel like I have to be careful with everything I do, because I’m always using her dishes, her furniture, etc. Which, granted, one would think I would have to worry about that with my parents too, but my parents let me do anything I want and I already know that, hah.

Also, I admit, it is nice to have someone to cook home cooked meals for me again. Baked potato and steak never tasted so good!

Which brings me to my next question. Are any of you diarists particularly good cooks? Do you like to cook for other people? It’s never too early for me to start shopping for my next roommate and I consider you all to be leading candidates . . .

I love to cook, I bake better though. Betty Crocker has nothing on me!

Dude if you can get here to live with me, I bet that with 49,200 a year I could learn to cook well. It must be nice and relaxing to take time off from your job other time of relaxation… (I’ll never let you live this down, sorry.) : ) ~I’ll be

The above noter took the words right out of my mouth in regards to cooking.

So long as I have the time for it, I’m a good cook. I just prefer baking. Seriously. Don’t give me stuff to bake with, I’ll go crazy in the kitchen. I like to cook for other people so long as they don’t look over my shoulder. My boyfriend does that sometimes if I’m cooking at his place, I yell at him. :p. ♥ Andrea

*points* i’ve cooked for you.

Enjoy your time at home. I’m not a very good cook, but my husband is!

I’m not AMAZING. And I hate doing the dishes after. But I do cook and everyone eats it and then eats it again. And I won’t live with you because I end up disliking anyone I live with other Sham, even if I liked them before (e.g. Doug), BUT! I could give you super easy, yet yummy recipes to make yourself. Or to make your future roomy make!

Well, I am. And husband. We live a TAD far away though

The only thing I “cook” is a mean quesadilla, thank to my five-minute quesadilla machine.

i’d love to cook for you matt, cause you know, i’m not particular about who i cook for. (or is that whom) i just like to cook…. shoulda been a chef i guess. it’s the idea of living in georgia that scares the hell out of me. of course, if you want a cook with fringe benefits, well, i’m not your guy, haha.

If you want a cook with fringe benefits, Hunter probably IS your guy.

I’m usually not a big fan of cooking, but I did make the most deliciously amazing mini pizzas today for lunch, and they yummy. lol. They had broccoli, sausage, onion, tomato, pepper and mozzarella cheese. mm. I put all the toppings on hamburger buns, and they were really really good. I’ll give you the recipee if you want! 🙂

i’ll give you some good recipes. you want them here or should i e-mail them?

I’m not a good cook but only because I have rarely cooked anything that was not boiled, baked, or nuked. One time I made potato soup in what was basically a cauldron. I underestimated the depth of the pot and so the soup needed way more salt and potatos… My point is, I don’t like cooking for people because I know they won’t like it. But cooking is kind of fun. It’s like poetry sometimes.

OH MY GOD CAN THEY GET INTO YOUR VIRTUAL PANTS ANY FASTER?!?!?! Anyways. You know damn well I can cook but I think I enjoy living by myself too much. HOWEVER, if we were ever neighbors, you could come over everyday for dinner!!!
