Wish it were cold where you are?(added link)

We are having our warmest weekend this year, with record-breaking temperatures predicted for Monday.

Feeling too hot where you are?

These are from a series of pics I posted in December.

Maybe a cool breeze will blow on you off these:

Thanks, I needed that! It’s funny, just last week I was saying that it hasn’t even been warm enough yet to bring the fans up from the basement… & there I was lastnight, hauling them up, and hooking up the portable air conditioner in the bedroom – didn’t need the AC lastnight but it’s ready to roll if things don’t cool off enough for sleep tonight!

oh wow, those waterfalls are amazing! It would be nice to be standing near one! :o) !! Though in Maine here it is not hot….in Delaware it sure was! hugs, Weesprite

You don’t even want to know how hot and humid it is here, miserable. Your pictures look refreshing.

It’s hot here today too…I’m one big puddle of perspiration, but it’s not going to stop me from going upstairs for a coffee. Been living in the basement where it’s much cooler.

What kind of temperatures break records in the Pacific Northwest? I mean, are we talking high 90s or low 100s? Or will low 90s do it?

RYN: I stopped going to the one chatroom I used to enjoy because the teenagers took it over. Boooo-ring. And yeah, I’ve been to Boston Harbor. Going on the ferry to George’s Island is one of my favorite Boston activities.

Gorgeous!

You are right. You do live in a beautiful place. Why would you want to pay hundreds of dollars visiting any where else when you ahve a little peice of paradise right inoyur own back yard, So to speak. Water falls are my most favorite things on this planet.I have been known to walk miles just get a pet a peek at one. Once I went in one of the pools under one of our large water falls…

Wearing a hat 7 scarf as I type-the photos are beautiful-I envy you the Nature nearby. But I’m cold enough as it it, ta… thinking of putting on another pair of sox – we have 7 degrees C in here just now.

The water came thundering over the rock ledge into the pool, turning it into a cool refreshing spar.I sat right under the flow of water letting it hit my shoulders. it was the best massage I have ever experienced! Kind of like someone pounding you with a clenched fist, softly, then hard, softly then hard.It was one the most memorable experiences I have ever had.So cooling too, on a very hot day!

I went to the link and looked up the rest of drive 9. It was wonderful to see some more of your beautiful state. Shame I can’t afford to come over there and see those water falls for my self. But at least I got to se them via your diary. Thanks for putting your picturs on here.I would have missed out other wise, and that would have been a crying shame!!
