This is a freebie – out of sequence, but the subject is not required to do the same thing as this.

(this is someone I think highly of and is worth your attention)

lmivanov is a librarian in Montana.  She has posted pics of her area and of her pets too.

1.  Something random:

2.  A challenge: I don’t think lmivanov needs any challenges.  Her husband has been in ill health this year and dealing with that and his personality changes because of his chemo and radiation treatments has given her a full plate this year.  A challenge in her life has been her daughter, who is now working in Glacier National Park and is doing well at it- I sense her relief about that.  I instead challenge my readers to visit lmivanov’s diary – she is inspiring and worth the reading.

3,  A color I associate with you:  Wheatgrass.  A pale shade of brown, the color of the food you feed to your beloved animals.  You have claimed you might indeed have a "sucker" sign on your forehead, because you’ve been a friend to animals who need a home and care, but I don’t see it.  You have helped animals who need help, cats especially, and on behalf of my cousins, I say "thank you".

4.  Something I like about you:  Bunnies and kitties are your friends.  So too are the children who use your library, the teens and the younger ones who you’ve helped to learn more of their lives.  Most of all, I like your strength and committment to your wedding vows.  yes, this is the "worse" part of "For better or worse" and is too the "sickness" part of "In sickness and health", but you, while having thoughts of it, have not shirked your vows and have remained committed to helping your husband, who has acted badly during his sickness.  In this case at least, "staying the course" is admirable and inspiring.

5.  My first, clearest memory of you:

Just now, I was searching through my notes received list and cannot find the first note you sent me, which is a pity.  You’ve been one of my longer-term readers and have left me some good notes.  I’m guessing that you saw a note of mine on one of your favs and came over to say hello, and stuck around cuz you liked what you saw…so it bugs me that I can’t seem to find that first note….

6.  The animal you remind me of:

You love animals.  You’ve had horses and ponies and cats and rabbits, and I can see all of them in you, but as for an animal yourself?  hmm.  What is caring and compassionate and giving of a home to others?  You are in a class of your own, linette.

7.  Something I’ve always wanted to ask you…  Oh my!  Ask a librarian a question, get a whole and complete answer!  So… had any good dreams lately?

Normally, if I do these memes for anyone, they are to offer the same to anyone else who asks them, but this is a special case- I just wanted to highlight a diarist who is worth reading.
