My cousin just called. She talked to my brother and he is going to come to the family brunch too. I talked to my papers boss and he will cut me a check and leave it for me to pick up Sunday the 21st; I can leave early Monday the 22nd.
This will be good.
Maybe even Excellent. I will be seeing my brother for the first time since he left us up here in 1988, and I will be seeing family that I have not seen since Christmas 1984.
We’ll leave aside whether or not I’ve been… ummm, ahhh, umm….
Shit. Not so bright, maybe. Stupid, on an outside chance.
Yeah. Let’s not go there right now.
Let us concentrate on the reunion – I’m going to.
Christmas 2008 is going to be glorious.
Yeah.
I will make it so.
