Says ch.12.  It’s that Gorge wind. 20 – 30 mph.

A wind chill in the single digits.

The metro area is pretty well iced over.

Thank God.

Thank God this didn’t happen on my paper route yesterday morning.

There is no school today.

I got to sleep in till 7:30, not five fucking am.  I didn’t mind.

The sun is blazingly clear in the unclouded sky.

Pictures may be out there waiting to be taken… but it’s nice and warm in here.

I had no problems driving around yesterday without chains… but when I have $ in the bank, I’ll find some.  Maybe I’ll use the phone to do that first. I will walk to the bank at 10… if it’s open.

The Viewpoint Inn, where "Twilight" was filmed had a fire – damage is not too bad.

Since the temperatures are expected to remain below freezing all week it’s a fair bet that school will not meet this week, because that snow and ice will not melt.

A three week Winter Break?  I can do that.

The HIGH temp at Timberline Lodge up on Mt. Hood will be 5.  Thats degrees, fahrenheit, and not including the wind chill.

Yeah.

I think I will stay home… but, oh gee, I still have those sweaters to give away, and there is real NEED out there this week.  I wonder how easily I can drive my Caliber around.

Ya know, those new windows they put in the apartments this year work Very effectively.
