 Monacita and I were talking on the way out and realized that the last time we’d seen each other was in January, and we came out to Bridal Veil Falls – so, in effect, we began and ended a year with Bridal Veil Falls:

I also realized that the pics of the falls I posted yesterday weren’t from fall ’08, they were from Jaunary ’09.  It wasn’t all that cold down here in Bridal Veil’s hollow, and I saw no ice; I wonder if it ever freezes?

That line across the middle of the picture is actually I-84… but the sound of the water here overpowers the constant drone of the Interstate.

It was a good trip with a good friend, on the day before Christmas.  Indeed, it was kind of like a gift.

(and 65 pictures to show for it, eh?)
