Paulina Creek

  The name Paulina is all over part of Central Oregon.  I posted pictures of Paulina Peak a few days ago.  The road tops out at nearly 8,000 feet – the highest rest area in the state is there, but the road is so high that the pictures caught clouds and mist.  At the end of the entry, i posted a picture of Paulina Creek and said that things look better in the caldera.

There is a trail to the falls from the parking lot:

The trail from the parking area goes up one side of the creek and down the other; this view is from the far side of the trail.
