looking backwards
There are times I miss that job, distributing the Oregonian newspaper…

But no one buys the paper any more, and I got in on the last act of it anyway – story of my life, I sometimes think.
Almost 7 years of that, amazingly, 7 years of weekends and a few of Dailies too.

But, of course, you cannot move forwards if you are always looking back, which is why I often say “Onwards”.

I think distributing newspapers would be fun. I tried to get my husband to do it with me once, but he would have no part of it.

sometimes i too miss delivering the paper. We did it for about 7 years every day. At 5 a.m. and then to see the world come to life (we finished about 7) and then we would rush to go to school (my kids) or to another job (me). Of course, i’m a little bit older now and on those cold mornings, i change my mind and am glad that we don’t deliver anymore. It served it’s purpose tho, same as yours did

Papers are indeed going the way of the Dodo. Love the picture, btw. 🙂
