 Shhhh.

I don’t wanna jinx this, but I gotta tell you.

I dunno if or how this is gonna work out, but there may a job for me, a care-giver’s job in Northern California – Crescent City, on the coast, less than a dozen miles south of the Oregon state line.

That old high school friend who got in touch with me a week or two ago?  He’s disabled.  Lives on a couple of acres in Crescent City.  Says he mailed me a check for $160, "spend it or buy gas and come see me".

A little over 300 miles, the GPS says, one way.

Could be I hear a door opening wide – ya know, when one closes, another one opens, like that.

Hmmm.

HMMMM.

Looks like I’m going to take a drive next week.

EDIT:

It’s not my friend who needs assistance, it is his friend, who’s assistant director of an Assisted Living facility nearby, who’s looking for some help.  Driving a short bus or a van.  I’ll go down and check it out next week.
