Check out our new bathroom!

Here it is!

Right in the family room!  These boxes contain a tub, the surround walls and a vanity and marble top sink! Woohoo! Hubby’s got Friday off so you know what we’re doing this weekend. I just can’t wait!

They are replacing this:

And by the way, when this picture was taken, the faucets were turned OFF! This is why we have had to have the water main to the house turned off unless we were using the water, and still our water bills were outrageous. But this was a one piece unit with no access until we were ready to cut out the tub and replace it. Although the water looks brown in this picture for some reason, it’s not, but we do have hard water here so you can see what constantly running water can do to a tub.

So cut out the tub walls my honey did so he could replace the pipes with new works:

And here is a very happy hubby throwing out the offensive broken faucet! Yeah I know, we get excited over crazy stuff! But hey, you try living with no IOL (Instant On Water) for 4 years! LOL!

Oh, and here’s a shot of my (FINALLY!) finished kitchen cabinets! Pretty, aren’t they?

So we have the two bathrooms to gut and redo, 3 of the 4 bedrooms and the 2 porches still need paint (there’s that dreaded word again! ) and we are ready to refinance so we can afford to repair the outside and then it’s time to sell this place and start all over again in the fixer upper I just know we’re gonna get! We sure are gluttons for punishment, aren’t we? LOL!
