Monstrous monsoon madness!

I feel like I’ve been making foodables all day long.

This morning I woke up (rather late, but it’s Sunday and I was having a dream that needed completion. Twas like a tv drama crime solvy thing with all that fun stuff going on. Had to get to the conclusion.) and made banana muffins. For Michelle, as it is her birthday tomorrow. The muffins have their own little box that I hopefully can get some cute wrapping paper to hide it in.

Then I sat down, did a bit of puter stuff, got sick of hearing Spiderman 2 right in my ear so I went and played with vegetables.

I was very fond of the colours of dinner. Peas got added after this, for even more colourful awesome. Unfortunately, by the time there was peas, there was also heat so the pretty purple (I mean red) onion had turned… a weird brownish colour.

Pasties were dinner, and will be for another 3 days, judging by how many we made. I am very happy with this. Very good dinner. So quick, so easy, so yummy. They remind me of when I would take them for lunch in high school. Very nice room temp. Not fridge-cold though.

I had one giant triangle too many, and not quite enough veggies, so we made sponataneous dessert pastries.

Very nice. Very juicy too, made my hand look like it was cut open after I finished eating. Weirdly over-sweet, probably to do with how much puff pastry they had. I was seriously surprised how well they came out looking. There was a little heart-shaped blob of leftover pastry that cooked alongside these, Jake ate that before I took the picture. One side was blackish-purple from all the juices that ran out of these. Yay for unplanned desserts of woo!

Tomorrow, before or after delivery of muffins, there will be cookie making. This week is being too awesome. Rather delicious too. I was sily though. Yesterday I made… 24 bran muffins. They are… ok. Today I made 11 banana muffins, they are FREAKIN AWESOME and we got to eat… half of one each. I am hoping they won’t all fit in the present-box, because then oh no, they will have to be eaten. I am looking forward to peanut butter cookies though. Russ seemed to like them last year when I made them for his birthday. The next day he commented that they had all been eaten already.

yum pasties! and them dessert pastries look delicious 🙂 RYN: it was some weird pasta… like spaghetti but thinner and cut up haha

you should ask Russ or whoever is in charge in the restaurant if you could bake cookies and muffins that they could sell. It could be a Sezzie franchise!
