work
a coworker told me I haven’t been acting the same since the movie started. I wanted to slap her to accentuate her point, what a stupid thing to say. You can only show one color around work, otherwise people will whine about you not being your usual goofy self- the version of you they like best- the one that they think is the norm. I hate it when people make it a point to say I’m angry or quiet or not happy when I haven’t even opened my mouth. It’s like thery’re trying to get a rise out of me. What the fuck do you know what I’m feeling? You only know me from work- you think you know me?
Maybe they do. I am pretty predictable.
I joke about slamming my head through the glass display case in retail and pulling out a stupid necklace by my teeth while my face is bleeding,
"Here you go ma’am!"
But that’s how I feel sometimes.
