futurama equals good

I recently borrowed the first two seasons from andy to watch when bored at home.  What a great show.  I remember when it first came out, and i heard it was by the simpsons guys so naturally i had to watch it.  My first overall impression was good, but not great.  I watched the odd episode but never really got into it.  Now i find the show hillarious and wonder what my problem was.

After thinking about it, i realized that futurama was up against the simpsons when they were at their best.  So of course, nothing would compare in hillarity to simpsons of that caliber.  Now with simpsons more of something to watch as opposed to funniest show ever, i can now enjoy the humor of Futurama.

Dont get me wrong, i will still pledge allegiance to the simpsons.  Despite it sucking compared to those of old, the show is still one of the best things on tv.  Plus, we all know that the suckiness is due to the writers, not the show itself.  We just need Conan Obrien writing some more episodes.

That was a bit of a tangent, back to Futurama.  Anyways, great show.  Ive gone through the first several episodes and are finding great lines in each episode.  I am glad that they are scheduled to make new episodes of the show starting in 2008 with the same voice cast.  Excellant.
