Feeling a hell of a lot better!

Gentle Hearts:

Today I feel a hell-of-a-lot better! Phew! I must have caught some nasty bug! On Sunday I was truly sick with chills and a temperature and some killer headaches and sore throat! Yesterday I was feeling achy and my head didn’t stopped throbbing! I stayed in bed the entire day! Today I woke up better and I got up just as my husband got up to get ready for work and I had a bowl of rice crispies and some orange juice.

Something wonderful happened in my sleep! I thought of a wonderful poem for my husband to give him on our First Wedding Anniversary! The words came pouring into me by some ancient poetic muse that whispered it to me in the night! This morning I sat down on my computer and wrote this poem:

The Anniversary Sonnet

It’s Our First Year Anniversary,
It’s been a wondrous year
And love has marked our Matrimony
With blessings and good cheer;

Our Wedding was Divine
Father Richard our two hearts did join
At the Fiesta our guests toasted us with pink champagne
We both danced into the Evening till we felt the passion in our loins;

It’s been a year of passion
A year of changes and challenges too
Still its wonderful having a companion
to awaken with and greet each other with a kiss and ‘I Love You’

Happy Anniversary! I’ve a gift for you! In my chest a heart aflame
and Engraved in gold you’ll find your name

I’m going to write this poem in Old English callifgraphy and frame it for him!

I’ve had a nice day! I bathed and used some of the Sleep Well and Relaxation Raddox and my aches and pains rolled away with the water! Hubby came home for lunch at noon. I made him a ham sandwich and I had a mushroom cup a Soup! I’m still not quite hungry as I’m too tired to eat! Hubby got his first paycheque today! Hurray!
