Race for the Cure…(yesterday)

Here is a link to a picture from the local Gazette about the race. My friend came from over by Detroit to be on my team. It was a nice article too.

I really need to figure out how to share pictures on this. I will lay down for a nap and then try again when I wake up. The race was awesome. I ended up having 25 people on my team. It was awesome to have so much support.

It’s a beautiful day and I skipped church to stay home and chill out. We opened up the camper and are getting it ready for this weekend. I can’t believe Memorial day weekend is going to be here already. Then next Wednesday Dale will have his 16th birthday. I am so not ready for it!

He starts driver’s training tomorrow night. It’s going to be busy crazy for 4 weeks while we drive him up for driver’s ed. It’s 15 minutes away and his class is 2 hours long. We’ll be running back and forth every Monday and Wednesday night for 4 weeks.

I am so tired. Just think, in 2 more days I will have my 16th week of treatment. Only 4 weeks left. I need to make a paper chain!!
