Euro
Last night’s game went well. I felt a lot better physically compared to last game, my mental game is starting to come back too. I think our team is going to do pretty good, we seem to have good chemistry. The Defense could use a little work, but our mid-field is strong and comes back to defend. I think we have a few good strikers as well. I think we will be above .500 this year. One of the better teams that’s for sure. I played a bad first half, but came back in the second half and played well, I set up 2 of the goals. I missed such a great chance in the second half to put us up 2-1, Richard took a shot from about 16 yards out, the keeper dove and made a save, giving up a rebound. I came in and shot it and some how the keeper got his hands on it. Oh well, we still won 3 – 1 with no subsitutes when they had 2.
I pick up Carissa from the airport tonight, it was suppose to be last night, but she got booted off the plane for being sick. She also mentioned how multiple people didn’t like her “attitude”. Yeah, I can see that… She is very rude and hostile at times, it is irrotating, so in a way I don’t blame the flight attendants booting her off the plane. She is now in Cuba, coming home for 8:15pm tonight. In a way, I am not looking forward to her living with dad and I, I have a feeling she will get on my nerves. We’ll see…
Euro 2004 has begun, I watched both games today. Portugal lost 2-1to Greece, and Spain beat Russia 1-0. It has been some good soccer, although I hate how some teams play with such “drama”. Gah, the way they roll around. If I was at a game, I would just want to throw some sort of award onto the field.
It is a beautiful day, I went out rollerblading for a bit, but it was short lived, because I am sort of sore from yesterday’s game.
