My internet is really messed up today, so I’m using my head and typing up my entry in word (hence all the capitals.) I should be using Notepad, as it will translate to OD better, but I can¡¦t stand using that particular program. Every once in a while, my internet gets all crazy and won’t stay connected for more than 3 minutes. I will read one entry, if I am lucky, wont be able to note without copying and saving the note and waiting for my chance to leave the bloody message¡KGRRRRR
I love my internet. It is so fast, but when this happens, I want to strangle someone. I am pretty sure it’s my provider and NOT the fact that we keep moving my desk and re-connecting my internet. The cable works (yes, we are somehow getting basic cable with our internet but not paying for it. Dennis hooked it up, but it’s their mistake for including access to it with our internet) but not the internet, so that leads me to believe it is the internet provider that is at fault here.
Yesterday, Sawyer tried whole milk yesterday (and a bit the day before.) the problem is that he doesn’t like to drink anything but water out of a sippy. It does not seem to be bothering his stomach, which is good, but I don’t know where to go from here. Do I just take the bottle away and hope that eventually he gets the idea that he must eat his food drink milk from his cup or be hungry? It does not mix well with soy formula, so I don’t know if mixing it in his bottle until I can eliminate the formula will work. Not a tasty combination, I must say. So, I’m still lost on the bottle/cup/milk transition.
Have I mentioned that at night, we lay Sawyer down and he goes to sleep on his own (after his story)? It’s so so nice to just put him down and walk out of the room knowing he will talk to himself and then go to sleep on his own. With no fuss. No problem. I hope he continues to do this for a long time. Naps, he still gets rocked, but really he only has one nap a day unless he’s really tired or we go somewhere. He almost always falls asleep in the car, just like mom!
In church yesterday (yup, we finally made it there again; the priest is going away on a mission and I wanted to get there before he went. we have been sick, but there’ve also been a few times when Dennis didn’t feel like going), Sawyer was doing a lot of hollering and laughing. He was yelling “hiya” at the kids behind us and high-fiving the dad. He loves saying “hiya” to everyone and”hi da” to Dennis.
I have yoga tonight but I won’t be there on time. 🙁 Dennis has a lot to do at work and can’t leave early. I’ll probably meet him at the library (where I do the yoga) and he’ll take Sawyer from there. I’ll hopefully get in an hour of yoga that way (it’s from 4:30 until 6.) Dennis says we’ll do yoga together Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays too. We’ll see about that. He hasn’t even tried it yet but I think it could improve his fighting (it should improve his flexibility & breathing, and will further his strength training) so he’s willing to try. I don’t know if he will like it much, so making the promise to do it three times a week, on top of his muay thai classes, is a big commitment to make. It would be good for me to get in that much exercise (plus my two other classes and walking back and forth to them.)
later…
finally, my internet is working again! yay for that. it was working when i got home from yoga, where i found out that there’s a 6 week cold going around our area. that explains why dennis and i can’t seem to get better.
I have a couple of pictures.
first a wooden toy my mom got for sawyer (he has quite a few more in his room.) i thought scrpbookr might like to see it.

we rearranged the living room.
this was how it was before (back when we switched the locations of the TV and couch)

sawyer and dennis in the new computer area.

sawyer seems to have noticed how spacious it seems b/c he’s all over the place

LMAO at myself. i’m sure you’re all very excited to see a bunch of pictures of an empty living room (with the occasional baby in it.) 😉
i have A LOT of faves to catch up on. i haven’t really been on this weekend and today my internet was down. this might take a while.

What a cool wooden toy! I think it’s great that Dennis is willing to take yoga with you! Have you ever thought of a mom and tot yoga class? They have them here and I wanted to do one with Trystan, it looked so much fun!

Personally, I dont think you should just take all his bottles away. I think thats really mean. All of his life hes known the bottle, it is a big deal to him. Autumn did REALLY well… she didnt even have a bottle today. For the last week, I would just give her a sippy of milk a little after it was time for her to eat so she was extra hungry and she drank it. Just try changing the bottle for the

that’s funny.. Kaden says Hiya too. I need to go back to church myself, it’s just hard because who will take care of Kaden while I’m trying to get ready… ya know? I wouldn’t just take his bottle away, if he’s anything like my son he still loves his cuddles wiht the bottle.

Once again, how nice it will be just to ask you,”Well, whadja do with Sawyer? How’s that work?” LOL not that you’re the only person I know with a baby but you know. Sometimes I communicate with my terrific OD girls more often than people I know “for real” And hooray for rearranging. kristen
