the tale of my new chairs and house hunting

so, i had a good time hanging out with my friend u.v. on friday night while dennis and k.v. picked up my new chairs. we played with the kids and all that fun stuff. my little butthead decided it was a good time to rehearse lines from the wiggles just as u.v. was trying to take a picture of her baby asleep in the high chair for the first time. if you’ve ever seen the kids’ show the wiggles, you’ll know jeff falls asleep a lot and the others yell "wake up, jeff!" to wake him. yeah. my butthead woke u.v.’s baby three times and she never got the shot. *eep* she said it was okay and that it was forever embedded in our memories but i felt bad.
anyway, we got home after visiting and i checked out my new chairs. they dwarf beside the old one. lol. but are pretty. and make the room look bigger. wanna see?

dennis copied and burned the black snake moan soundtrack for me. i really like it. i liked the movie and knew i wanted the soundtrack so we finally got around to finding it.
saturday, dennis went to class. the trainer’s son was there so sawyer played with him and i just sat around (unless i had to tell sawyer what area to stay in while playing–it was a grappling class so everyone was all over the place.) after that, we saw house #1. it was in our price range and we liked it BUT since it’s a condo, one cannot put in a fence (we have a dog) and we were suspicious of the signs of leakage in the basement and in the ceiling of the upstairs hall. *pouts* it would’ve worked out very well for us in terms of size, location, and price. after that, we had lunch and then headed to house #2. i did not like the layout of that house at all. it was upside down, basically. the agent said it’s a "big city layout." you come into the basement and there’s a staircase that you take to get to the main floor. they feel very disconnected, like 2 different apartments. not great for family living, awkward, and not the kind of house that we’re going to go over budget for.
we went home after that and sadly, still have no house prospects. we watched movies dennis downloaded. shoot em up (satire?) and good luck chuck (jessica alba annoys me but funny movie.)
sunday, i went to my CM "border class" and had a good time with the girls there. after that, it was off to our niece’s bday party. my SIL and BIL know someone looking to move from the city we want to buy in so they’re going to find out what kind of price that couple will be asking once they find a house they like in the town they want to buy in. i hope that turns out well. i really want to move to the city.
we watched mr woodcock (while i scrapbooked) and then conked out in bed. i was just exhausted! lol. i did SO much.

great chairs. and aww. kids are so funny sometimes… So why are you looking to move? I learned marker techniques this weekend. It’s amazing what you can do with markers. And I’m now the proud owner of the ENTIRE marker collection from Stampin’ up. yep.. exciting….

LOL @ Sawyer waking up the baby. We did watch that show much here, but I think it’s funny that one guy is always passing out. Like the chairs. We have a lot of throw covers around here, too. 🙂 P.s BSM was a good movie!

It does open up the room a lot, they’re smaller but now the living room looks a lot bigger. So, good choice! Sorry about the house hunting disappointments. I know you guys will eventually find the one that’s right for you, within your budget. We are having house troubles too. kristen

Yes, it was nice of the doctors office to mail me the results to the STD thing. I explained in my edit to the regular entry I made today about my sister’s bfs mom living with them. What do you mean by if I want to get away? Do you mean leaving my bf for good. Why did it matter that there were no pics of my bf and I in the pics entry I shared today?

Why is it always more interesting to see people than just random items? Is it because for you it’s easier to understand an entry with pics from a place a person on your diary shares than seeing random items.

I hope you are not saying you don’t want to see random pics in my diary that I took myself. Are you saying you want to see more pics of me in my diary? If so that will be hard for me because I don’t really get chances to have pics of me taken. Usually the meeting for the blind is the time I can get pics of me taken. If I show pics of other ppl in my diary that I took or my mom shared is that whatyou want to see more of. I try not to take pics of ppl to often because who knows if they wanted their pic taken.

It’s ok you agree with my bfs mom on not wanting to sit around if one can go somewhere where they can shop. Just because one can’t shop doesn’t mean there are no groccery or gas stations near by. Being able to take walks is just as good for me as to go shopping. That is good you would stand up for yourself if someone was insulting you or your family. What do you man by you would let it go ifthe person was just being irrational and perhaps making a fuss because they were having a bad day or were overreacting? How do you know if someone is being irrational and making a fuss or overreacting? Have you ever had to stand up for yourself?

From a note you left me it seems the following is what you got Dennis for Christmas- Optex 7 ” Digital Picture Frame. So you are right that you don’t have the Insignia digital photo frame from the article I shared. Have you hooked up the picture frame you bought Dennis to a computer yet and if you have I assume nothing bad happened to the computer?

That is good you are not going to let ppl walk all over you. Is walking all over a person taking advantage of them. What I mean is if you walk all over a person are you using them? The digital picture frame I got for Christmas came with a CD Rom you load onto the computer and also a USB cable. Did the one you bought Dennis not come with a CD Rom and or USB cable? Are you saying your card reader is external? The one my bf has is right in the computer tower.

I do hope staying in a cabin for 4 nights will be fun. The only thing is there is only one bedroom and a fold out bed which is probably just a couch that folds out, but not sure. I doubt my bfs parents will want to sleep on any fold out type of bed.

You are right that it was mean of my bf to get the mexican’s hopes up. It’s ok you feel a family doctor can’t do a mammogram. You said this. Are you saying you have never had a mammorgam done to you and that you do know someone other than on OD who has had a mammogram done. If so how come you have never had a mammogram done. Have you ever had your breast examined to see if you had anylumps in it that could be cancer? I hope I don’t have to get a mammogram done. no i haven’t and yes i do. but i know nothing about it.
