A little shopping….

I went out shopping for a little while this a.m. Back home by 1 p.m. Although I really would like to run to Kohl’s this p.m. for their sale. I might just do that. My girlfriend had mentioned a while back that she needed some t.v. trays. They have some nice ones and I have another 15% off. So I might run out there an use it today. I will see what is going on when the kids get home.

I am done working until next week Wednesday. It would have been Thursday but one of the girls is going back to Florida for a visit and she will be back later in the week. She needed someone to cover her shift. She said she really didn’t care if nobody would she was going to quit. Wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t come back. That would mean more hours for me. Yuck, not before X-mas. I need the hours after Christmas when the bill come flying in.

I am going to put up the tree tomorrow. I have to have the living room moved around and then bring the big lunker up here. My older son works on Saturday during the day but Sunday in the evening. He always love to help put up the tree which is nice. So we can probably do that tomorrow evening. Maybe his girlfriend will help? He is waiting to hear from NDU if he has been accepted. I am willing to give him up now. I just don’t want to see him pick that school if his girlfriend is picking it. I want him to make his own decision. I know they will accept him and that is where he wants to go. I will let him do it since it will be his decision and he has to live with it. I will miss him terribly but he must move on. He is going to realize how much his father and I do for him and I hope he appreciates it.

Not much happening around here. It snowed a little this morning the light fluffy stuff that is pretty. It got me in the mood to shop I guess. But I worry about spending money and then I come home after only going to a couple of stores. I forgot to ask the kids where they want their gift card from for their drawing with their cousins. We are just doing giftcards this year and each kid will draw one. If they get their own fine or they can switch with someone if they want. It makes it so much easier and then if you don’t want to be in the drawing you don’t have to. It makes it so much easier for the parents.

It is getting colder here and I am not liking it one bit. The wind is so cold today. I got to Sam’s club and my toes were numb and I had only been to one other store. I think I need another pair of socks this time of the year. I hate having cold feet because they never warm up.

Well I guess I had better check my email to see if hubby emailed me back. The dog is whining too. Not sure what that is all about.
