Cold & Snow

It is pretty cold and windy and snowy outside right now.  I was out X-mas shopping and quit early it is so cold walking from store to store. Enough is enough.  I can’t be gone for more than a couple of hours and then I find I need to get home and get a few things done.  Back to work on Wednesday.  I was supposed to off until Thursday but someone is going on vacation so I pieked up a few hours.  I guess I need the cash since I have a very high Kohl’s bill. 

I can’t find much to buy the boys.  Hubby has picked up a few things and I find things here and there.  We told them it will be small this year.  Of course that is what we say every year and it never works out that way.  We have plans for Saturday night and next weekend is our son’s 18th birthday and then Saturday hubby leaves for the Packer game on Sunday.  So no X-mas shopping then. Then the following weekend we have X-mas with my family so I will have to get stuff done during the week.  Hopefully I will have some days off during the week the next couple of weeks.  The schedule should come out today or tomorrow.  So I should get a copy on Wednesday. 

Stayed inside all weekend.  It was cold again and I didn’t want to go out in it.  Put up the tree and some decorations on Saturday.  I must have thrown alot out because I don’t have that much.  Oh well, that much more to buy.  Also had the neighbors over on Sunday for a Packer party.  Unfortunetly they couldn’t win and the Jet’s couldn’t do anything wrong.  That was a very depressing game.  So I had a few beers to go along with the losing team.  Brett Favre is still glad he came back though and I think he will be back again next year.  I just hope they get rid of some of their coaches or assistant people calling the games.  They are clueless!!!

Still not sure what to get hubby for X-mas.  I got him some slippers  from the boys and I should get him some cologne.  He ordered a bowling ball bag and some slippers to go over his bowling shoes. I guess if I buy him something bowling related he could use it.  Problem is I don’t know what.  I guess I will just have to ask him…except he always says he doesn’t need anything, if he needs it he goes out and buys it.  Big help he is.
