Here we go again….
Are you ready for round two yet? They are predicting more snow for the next couple of days. I should not have laughed so hard at those people in New York a couple of weeks ago who got 8 feet of snow.
Our official snow amount from the weekend was 12.2". It was windy and blowing alot too. Not sure how they could measure it exactly but we can go with that. They are not saying how much this next storm is going to bring so we better prepare for anything. Afterall it will officially be March and we know we always get dumped on in March. The sun is out and it is in the 30’s so the snow has been melting. Our street is pretty cleared off too. Not alot of ice build up since they didn’t get it plowed until late Sunday. Everyone without four wheel drive was getting stuck. I just hope the sun stays out for a while so it melts some of this crap.
One good thing about the storm is that it brought nice warm temps, although the snow was really heavy and wet so no fun to shovel. One thing I don’t do is shovel. Our neighbors are gone so we really need to do their driveway but when I came home yesterday afternoon to shovel the little snow that fell it had already melted. I was pretty happy about that. Nice and slushy and melted.
Hopefully we won’t have any snow days in the next few days. The kids have used two up and will have to make them up. Well the Seniors don’t have to make them up. But they are already looking at getting out of school on June 7th so anything later gets late for these kids. They are used to getting out the end of May until they pushed back starting the school year until after Labor Day. I guess they could always use up one of their days during Spring Break. Who needs a whole week for Spring Break?
Anyway I guess that is all I have to say today. Hope all is well and warm where you are.
