Record High

Our last record high for yesterday was 68 degrees in 1968.  Well yesterday we hit a record high again of 80 degrees.  It was a glorious day outside.  I did lay out for about an hour.  I looked burnt when I came in to shower and afterwards for a little while and then by the afternoon it was all gone.  Just my white skin was back again.  Imagine that!  It will take a lot of laying out to get my skin any color.  It just doesn’t happen that easily.  I could lay out all summer and still not get really dark.  Some people look funny though when they are really dark.  It’s like they have makeup on or something.  It’s crazy.
Hubby ended up in the emergency room over the weekend while he was at his bowling tournament.   He thought he lost his contact in his eye and it was scratching him.  He kept watering and couldn’t see anything and either could anyone else.  So they figured they would take him to the emergency room.  The Dr. flushed it and they wanted to take another look at it.  But he said he wanted to go.  He was drunk of course and I am sure acting like an idiot.  I told him that is it no more bowling tournaments.  Especially if you can’t act your age.  I can only imagine what goes on at those things.
So I wasn’t happy about that and I am sure we will be getting a very large medical bill from that hospital.  His cornea is scratched to….so what does he do.  Puts his contacts in to go and play basketball this morning.  What an idiot.  And he thinks Dr.’s are stupid.  Ok nuff said.
It’s supposed to be 75 again today so I am looking forward to that.  I also have to work this p.m. so that is a bummer.  But I did take the dog for a walk and now I am going to eat lunch and get ready for work.
