Summer is flying by way….

too fast!!!!

I am dreading next month so bad.  I don’t want to take my son to college and leave him there.  I am getting a bit used to it though with him gone to Denver last week and he is never here during the week.  Always running to his girlfriends house.  I hope that doesn’t continue once school starts.
We went to Rockfest this past weekend.  It was great.  We saw a band called Zed Lepplin.  They played and sounded just like Led Zeplin and we enjoyed listening to them.  We also saw, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Collective Sould, Tragically Hip, Chicago and the best act of all KISS!!   Kiss was in full makeup also.  Boy was that a trip they also played for 2 hours so we didn’t get out of there until around 1 and then the drive home so we got home around 2.  As always it’s a good time and we met alot of nice people.  A couple of young brothers well in there 30’s and really cute.  My girlfriend wouldn’t give them the right number though. She said they were from Green Bay and she didn’t want to get involved long distance.  Maybe a bit to young also. And then a couple of alot younger kids who were from Michigan and only about 10 miles from where my hubby grew up so he had a nice conversation with the young lads.  So it was nice this year we had some nice people around us.  We kept getting free beer from the 30’s guys they were from Canada.  They said their beer is much stronger than American Beer.  They were going to bring us some but you couldn’t bring in your own beer and we were not walking back to their camper about a mile away.  All in all it was a great time. I don’t think I can handle four days anymore though one day was enough being there from 1 p.m. – 1a.m. is a bit much.  Glad I wasn’t hung over the next day.  I hate hang overs and since I don’t drink all that much it doesn’t take much to have a hang over. 
We are slowly getting college stuff together.  Not sure what he is going to need or not.  I have a feeling he will be running to Target and picking stuff up or we will be sending him stuff.  Those dorm rooms are only so big.  There just isn’t any room.
Well other than that not much else happening.  Working a few more hours around 20 per week.  More than enough.   I am sure I will be getting more when the pregnant lady goes on maternity leave in Sept or Oct.  Not looking forward to that.
