Father-daughter dance was Trouble by Ray LaMontagne for about 30 seconds as a joke..my dad hates that song! Everyone was in on it except him which was hilarious..even my nieces knew. The real song was Southern Cross by Crosby, Stills & Nash, his favorite.


Our first dance song was Forever by the Dropkick Murphys, he picked it & it was perfect.

The rest are just random fun shots – of people drinking, dancing & just having fun. Which really is what our wedding was all about!

I took off the long skirt of my dress because it was too hot to dance in!

Just a few other details…My sister & Darnell gave a hilarious speech. Our intros were fantastic – flower girls to Superfreak by Rick James ( a la Little Miss Sunshine), Laura to Pour some sugar on me, Kacey to Save a horse, ride a cowboy, Darnell to Bust a move, Crystal to Free Bird (looong story there), & Emmett & I to I believe in a thing called love by the darkness.
It was seriously just so much fun. Like the bartender said – we weren’t a big group, but man could we drink! Even our photographers joined in on the party (& Obviously still managed to take stunning pictures). Despite all the drama, we couldn’t have asked for a better day. I think the best piece of advice I got prior to the wedding was – it won’t be perfect and it doesn’t have to be. I took it to heart & I think it really enabled me to have one of the best nights of my life!
