Taco Tuesday/Doggie Sitting Wednesday

Last night was amazing. My parents invited me out to go eat tacos with them and some friends that Dad knew from playing Volleyball at the community pool. This was at a new place and the tacos there was freakin’ delicious! They were made to order, so that means they were much fresher than I would’ve gotten at Taco Bell, which, like Subway, I try to go to at least once a month.

The only problem with last night was that I really felt like a third wheel. What I mean is, there were a lot of couples there, and I was a singleton. I don’t mind being single most of the time, honestly. I never actively seek out anyone to go out with. But last night, I couldn’t even contribute to the conversation. And that was really hard to deal with.

It was everything I could do not to go out to Dad’s car and grab my Nintendo Switch. And believe me, I was really close. I’ve kinda hung up on this game called Puyo Puyo Tetris. I’ve recently developed this urge to actually learn  Puyo Puyo. and I’m getting much better with it over the last couple of weeks.

I got home just in time (after picking up the keys for dog sitting today) for Roseanne’s third episode. I was a big fan of the original Roseanne, and this reboot/continuation has been just as amusing. My only gripe is more cosmetic than anything. I really feel bad for John Goodman. He looks horrible. I know he was hospitalized for a while, and has dropped a lot of weight over the years, but he looks sickly, almost. He doesn’t look like the Dan Conner I remember. Roseanne Barr looks nearly the same, minus some weight loss of her own. The others all have aged gracefully, including Michael Fishman, who played DJ Conner.  I’m already elated that it got renewed for another season. <3

Today, I’ve been at my neighbor’s house, watching her two French bulldogs, Lilly and Gypsy. They’ve been a delight and I’ve really enjoyed my time over here. It’s been nice to be in a different environment. I still don’t get out as much as I want to.

I’m planning to watch Alex, Inc. tonight. I don’t know if i will or not. But that is the plan. Tomorrow is Coloring Club at the library. <3 I’m looking forward to it because we’re working  on bookmarks for the Book Sale. <3 I’ve officially become a volunteer  for Friends of the Library. It’s a great feeling, honestly.  Anyway, I’m gonna go. May or may not write another entry tonight. <3
