Such a long way…

67 days from today,
Somehow seems like such a long way,
For one to wait for the void to end..
For one to wait for life to begin…

Finally,
Will I be able to touch you,
To hold you, to kiss you…
To hear your laughter,
To be together,
To get lost in your hugs,
Enjoy playful tugs,
Of limbs, of tongue, of teeth,
The future does seem neat…

But for now,
The waiting…
It’s so maddening….

I dream,
Of straddling you,
Kissing you,
Exploring you,
With my hands,
My lips,
My tongue,
My skin…
With everything within,
I want you…

I want to be with you,
To just sit together,
Enjoying the wonder,
Of finally being with each other,
Go for walks,
Watch a movie,
Share a meal,
Talk,
Sit in blissful, content silence,
The pleasure making up for the penance,
Of this distance…

I love you,
I need you,
I got to have you…
Cliché I know,
Yet no less true…
I’m just so in love with you.
