i was a teenage prospy

OK.

So maybe I WILL be happy next year.

*grins*

Carleton was SO great. I mean, really. It’s a two and a half hour plane ride out there, but its SO worth it. I met a whole bunch of other prospective students, and most of them were reeeeally nice. This one girl named Libby was particularly cool, she was a lot like me and we really hit it off. Then I met my roommmates for the weekend, and they were SO nice.

The best part, though?

Friday night, instead of going to a party, I went down to the substance-free floor in my dorm, and one of the room’s door was open. There were a bunch of people, Carls and prospective students (prospies), hanging out and listening to Simon and Garfunkel. I walked in and sat down, and we just sat there singing along to “The Boxer” and “I am a Rock” for an hour or so. Then we decided we wanted chocolate-chip cookies, so we went to Dacie Moses House (the chocolate-chip cookie house) and sat down and played Cranium and ate cookies. Till 3 in the morning. It was indescribable.

I was so scared that I wouldn’t be able to find that, you know? Like, everyone would want to party on the weekend and listen to loud music and drink and stuff. But there it was, right there, SO easy to find. And so so so much fun. I’m so excited.

*grins* Yeah.

Yes! So it does exist! I completely know where you’re coming from. I hope I find that too in a couple of years.
