i shrunked!

Teehee. The therapist man was cute. In that uberyoung dorky way. I get the feeling he didn’t quite know what to do with me, cause I knew so much about myself. He kept just nodding and saying things like “That’s powerful” or “I can understand that”. Teehee. He was sweet though. And he may know more than I give him credit for. The two books I could see on his desk were the Eating Disorder Manual and the Therapist’s Guide to Mastering Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. o_O So, yeah.

It was funny, too. He saw me and said “Have we met before??” and I was like “No, I don’t think so” and I knew he’d seen Spellbound cause that’s what people say when they’ve seen the movie but don’t remember me right away. But I was rattled enough, I wasn’t about to bring it up. Then at the end of the session he said “….yeah, I definitely just figured out where I thought I knew you from….you must get that a lot, huh? From the movie?” and I said “Yeah, but it’s cool, it’s a good movie :)” He said that it was weird to have had that small window into my life and now to see me in this totally different capacity. I told him lots of people think that I’m uberconfident like I appear, and super well balanced, and I just chuckle to myself. He laughed and said he understood. 😛

I’m meeting with him every Wednesday now. He said he felt confident that he could help me….*shrugs, amused* Nifty, I s’pose. lol. *is entertained by the 20-something dorky man who is so completely and utterly different from the shrinks she’s used to* Yom. It’ll be good, I think. 🙂
