Sick
I hate falling sick.
Went to J’s house on Sunday afternoon. We watched "Star Wars Episode V" dvd together and then had dinner at his place ard 7+ pm. When I reached home it was closed to 10 pm. As I had quite an early dinner (normally at home my dinner time is ard 8+ or 9+ pm), I felt hungry at 11 pm. But I did not eat anything as I thought it was kinda late. Anyway this wasnt the 1st time that I felt hungry at night. Most of the times I’d go to sleep with the hunger which will go away after a while.
Woke up on Monday morning ard 3 am, feeling very uncomfortable. Went to the toilet where I thought I almost flushed everything out from my system… Vomitted twice after I came out from the toilet. Felt as if my stomach was turning upside-down. It just felt so terrible and the tummy pain was unbearable. Having had past similar experiences, I woke up my parents. Even though this time round I wasnt that sick as previous times when I almost knocked out, my parents still drove me to the hospital for a jab.
Slept my day throughout yesterday. Was down with a fever, headache and body aches. Took a panadol soluble (my jiu xing… I cant swallow pills… ). Was a lot better after that. Visited a chinese sinseh in the evening. My mum was saying it must have been the numerous visits to those chinese sinseh during the past year that helped me. If not, I wldnt hv recover so fast this time round. Well, guess it was true in some way as I did not feel that terrible, the pain was not that intense this time round and I did recover faster.
It so happened that J was down with diarrhoea too yesterday. We half suspected that the culprit was the frozen garlic bread which we bought from the supermkt and heated it up to eat at his plc.

Went handphone-shopping last Sat as J lost his handphone last week. We went down to the branch at Paragon as both the cust svc and shop are located there and we had intended to complain abt some stupid rules. Apparently, he lost his hp last Wed and got the replacement SIM card at this branch near his office. The lady told him that he is abt 2 weeks away from fulfilling 12 mths’ contract and that she wld like to help him with it. But it was prob not that easy for her to do so. She requested him to go back to her on Fri and she wld be able to do the upgrade for him as it wld be closer to the 12 mths’ contract. So on Fri, J went back to the same branch but another lady told him they cldnt do it at all. She even contacted that 1st lady who attended to J and the 1st lady actually said she cldnt recall such an incident. In the end, J did not get any handphone becoz they insisted that it cldnt be done.
When he told that to me, I felt that shdnt be the way. I mean if u cldnt do it, then u shdnt promise ur customers in the 1st plc. Or if u had promised something but cldnt do it, then just apologised and said u cant do it, and not deny everything. J then filled in a feedback form online. I dont know if they got back to him anyway.
So… we went down to the Paragon outlet on Sat, with a gd mind to argue things out becoz I felt it was so unjustified. It was just some stupid rules that got in the way and I guess they shd be more flexible. Luckily the cust svc lady who served us helped to put things right. She made it possible for J to do a handset upgrade at the 12 mths’ remaining contract.
No wonder we owaz heard ppl complaining that we r too rigid and doesnt allow for flexibility.

Next time for this kind of incident, request them to track back their voice recordings. I believe call centres do keep a set of voice recordings..haha.. hope you get well soon! =)
