Fireworks

Went to catch the fireworks with J last Sat. We didnt go to Marina South, felt it was too inaccessible and dread the crowd there anyway. So we went down to Marina Boulevard. I brought along a grdsheet. My sis and bro-in-law joined us later. There was quite a crowd when it drew closer to 7+ pm. Everyone was looking over to the Marina South site becoz we all expected the firewks to be over there. So all of us were caught off-caught when it actually began exploding over another side of the sea.

Somehow I dont feel the fireworks were really spectacular. Felt it was a bit far and not that loud. Probably becoz I had seen firworks at closer view b4. There was once when J and I made our way to the stadium and watched the fireworks outside the stadium on a NDP preview. We were considered near to the fireworks site and the fireworks we saw were really BIG and loud. It was like exploding into our faces. And there were just a few other ppl ard so it felt like as if the fireworks display was being played out just for us. That was a memorable day I’ll always remember.

Monday again tomorrow. Gonna work. Sigh. Tue is National Day but I’ll need to work… Hv to go to the site at Yishun.
