Not Busy But No Time

Felt tired this week. I think it’s becoz I’m not used to the new bed and pillow. Kept waking up in the night initially. Now it’s getting better but still, I feel tired in the day.

I thought I will have more time once I’ve moved into the new house but I was wrong. Somehow I find that I dont seem to have enough time. Haha. Even though I’m now living nearer to my office. Probably becoz I will go to the supermkt to do grocery shopping before I head home to cook? And that takes time. Of course, I will have to factor in time spending waiting for the bus at my workplc. Sometimes the buses are so crowded that everyone at the bus stop cant get on board. And it gets even more irritating when you see the next bus packed with people and you still cant squeeze up the bus.

J has classes 3 times per week and on days like that he reaches home close to 10pm. So I’m very much left alone. Have plans to glue the inserts into my wedding invitation cards this week. Oh, just in case u r wondering why do I have to do that, well, it’s becoz my dad printed them himself and since he is doing it complimentary for us, I thought it will be better for us to paste the inserts ourselves.

Oh, SCV has free preview this month! Sad thing is, we tried to tune in last night but couldnt at all. Dont know why. Perhaps becoz the tv set we had was a really old model? It was so old that there is no input/output for vcd/dvd. Which means we r stuck with channel 5, 8, U and CNA.  Our inital plan was to get a plasma or LCD tv after our banquet in March as we will probably be using up a lot of $$ for the banquet. But now we r revising our plan. Hopefully we’ll be able to get a tv real soon and subscribe to SCV as well. Then we will hv more programmes to look fwd to and he’ll be able to watch his soccer matches at our home.

So GLAD that today is Fri. Yuppie! Finally can get to rest and sleep more. But somehow I got this feeling that we wont have much time during the weekend becoz we need to go back to my parents’ and his parents’ house. Ah. Obligations. Going to my parents’ house alone will take up many hours becoz travelling time is abt 1.5 hrs x 2 trips (to and fro). Gosh. And there is still the housework to be done and I think he wants to do some revision as well.

Our phone line is up and so is our internet connection at home. But I dont have the time to use it. Boohoo.

Just hoping that as time passes by, I will get used to everything and be able to find spare time. Haha. I will lah, it’s just a matter of time.  

Looking forward to the weekend. 5 and a half hours more to knocking off!!
