well now that i’m 21…

well i know i haven’t updated in quite some time but i’ve been busy, between working and driving up to see derek 2 times a week and still trying to get all of our house stuff lined up. which has been hectic. josh (mine and dereks old roomate and dereks best friend) had some speakers and a stereo that he was borrowing until the end of this month ‘cuz he is moving out of town, that he needed to drop off still. so he called me friday and wanted to bring all that stuff by ‘cuz he was leaving this weekend. so thats been a little hectic. not to mention that i turned 21 last week and this weekend was just a constant state of drunken-ness. oh yes thats always a good time. i turned 21 last tuesday and i ended up driving to go see derek that night so i had dinner and drinks with my parents and that was about it. but friday i went out with my parents, 2 of my cousins and my aunt and one of my cousins friends. we went to this sports bar and it really sucked the drinks sucked and the waitresses were rude. but after a while josh called and wanted me to come sing karaoke with him so me and my parents went and hung out with him for a while and he somehow talked me into singing ‘joy to the world’ (‘lil embarassing, but surprisingly fun for my first karaoke experience) so i got pretty drunk, me and my dad were drinkin jack and coke all night and i was drinking jagerbombs with josh. oh soooo good. so i finally get home and to bed at 2:30 in the morning but had to be up at 7:30 the next day ‘cuz i promised that i’d go to my little cousins wrestling tournament at 9 saturday morning. so i woke up and went to the tournament that like 6 of my cousins were wrestling in but they all did so good. 3 of them got first in their divisions 2 got 2nd and one got 3rd. so that was really fun. then i drove up to see derek that afternoon and that was nice ‘cuz he got a court date for next wednesday which they might let him out a week early but i kinda doubt it. but there is a little chance so im hoping and if they dont let him out then its still just one week more. so im SUPER excited that he is almost done with this. i miss him so freaking much i hate that he is missing so much stuff thats going on with everybodys life. its horrible. but we’re making the best of it and he is going to be home soon so i guess everything will be ok after that. anyway so i drove home and my sister and her husband were going out to play darts at the same sports bar we were at last night. but i decided to go because josh called and said that they were doing karaoke there that night too. so me and my sister and josh got there before most everybody else that was supposed to be coming so we hung out and played pool until the karaoke guy showed up. i got my first bar wound. i accidently ran my hand into the pool table and the metal strip around the edge sliced my finger. yeah im a nerd. anyway so then josh’s ex girlfriend showed up and like made the situation into this whole drama thing and but he didnt leave with her which was a little surprising but im glad he didnt ‘cuz we all ended up having a blast. we were hanging out with my sister a few friends and a guy josh used to work with. and it was hilarious ‘cuz the guy josh used to work with was hitting on me and my sister oh and then one of the girls that was dating this friend of josh’s was hitting on me too. hehe it was so funny. but josh and me were having so much fun doing karaoke, josh started out doing ‘i’m too sexy’ then he sang some ludacris song, i did ‘ice ice baby’ and then we did a duet, we sang summer lovin off of grease. and we were just drunk and dancing and being crazy and stuff ‘cuz he left this morning to his new home far far away so we had to make the best of the weekend before he left. anyway so me and him were the only ones like dancing and being way crazy. then his ex girlfriend showed up again and she was like half crying in her pajamas and me and josh were dancing and i just happened to look behind us and she was standing there with like a look of disbelief on her face and she made it kinda seem that he was out cheating on her with me ‘cuz im sure that people thought josh and i were together. but it kinda pissed me off ‘cuz she has a new boyfriend and im with derek and she makes it out like we’re ruining her life or something. but she just left and josh ended up staying and having an even better time with all of us. then josh put in a request for me to sing ‘pour some sugar on me’ by def leopard, i was pretty tipsy by this time so i got really really into it and was going crazy and josh got up and started dancing with me and had little packets of sugar and were pouring them on me and in my mouth, my sister said that everybody was just up and going crazy, hehe it was so fun though im like a karaoke addict now. but the karaoke guys wife was hanging out with me too and she was like oh god that was so good you are too funny. hehe i rock so much. i cant wait until derek comes home so i can make him go with me and show him how awesome i am. i miss him soooooo much i hope they let him out this wednesday. im gonna be pretty mad if they dont. the weekends get really hard for me ‘cuz im used to him being gone during the week but when he doesnt get to come home on the weekends im usually pretty depressed. especially ‘cuz i had so much fun this weekend it pisses me off that he isnt around to do that stuff with. blah oh well its almost over i just keep telling myself that, then he’ll be home and we can just be together and forget about it and move on. growl i have to work in the morning and i havent had much sleep this weekend so i better go to bed. hope everyone had a great weekend!!!!!
