“Do u really like what you really study?” She asked”
“Mmm I don’t know, I don’t really find an interest in marketing, but I like e-commerce.”
“You sure?” She questioned. “Or that is the next best alternative for you…”
“I wanted to take designing when I was registering for poly, but somehow due to some “stupidness”, “blurness” and “gong-ness”. I din go. I just follow my friends to take a business diploma. I was scare then.”
“Why dun you take what you enjoy? Don’t regret later on like me, who had work to near 10 years on something I don’t enjoy and continue studied over it because I only think of advancement in career.”
“Too late.. I enjoy doing designing.. but to start all over again..??”
“You are still young, you can drop this course now if you want to.” Another colleagues agreed with her.. ” I also think your designing is good.”
I ponder for a while, it set me thinking.. I would have to take another diploma.. and then start all over my career again when I graduate, with a lower pay, could even mean a pay cut of as much as $1000.
I just can’t let go…
I told Yaya, I would just work hard now until I can afford an apartment, quit my job and then I become landlord and just collect rental.
Wonder would I regret this.. but it just feel too late for me.. perhaps I just didn’t love designing enough..

It’s never too late, you just have to want it bad enough and you will get it. take care

No use forcing yourself to take up something you have limited interest in. But then… we are bred to be pragmatic. The decision is yours…

Ask yourself whether you will regret abt your decisions ;uv

Sometimes , what we are interested in may not be the best choice for us.

my uncle dished out the advice that interest and a decent future dun mix. Many a time, we have aspirations and hopes but they dun get us anywhere. Can’t tell you whether u shld take up the designing diploma
Warning Comment
or not but i supposed in a realistic society like ours, it’s would be better to treat as a side interest. Perhaps that can be ur part-time job?
Warning Comment
just think carefully if that’s what you really want and go for it! =)

interest isnt enuff… u tink u can excel in it? got prospects? there r still lotsa tings to consider…
Warning Comment
Since u’re not prepared to give up wat u have now, treat designing as an interest..
Warning Comment
Follow your interest, do what you love… Cuz it’s gonna last a lifetime. I agree with darkart, it’s never too late =)

it’s gd if u can pursue ur interst and yet be able to survive on it. but seldom we find such cases. so have to ask urself what u really want. — star_dust

if u love designing, just go ahead. Perhaps it’s a pity to give up all these years of studies.. but then we have to work for life one..which means there’s still a long way to go
